Dear Big Data Value Community,
Spring is here, nature is blooming and, step by step, we are finally going back to meeting each other in person.
Data Week 2022 starts on the 24th of May, launching a series of online workshops, and regional events hosted in BDVA i-Spaces. The event culminates in a two-day conference in Naples, Italy on 8-9th of June. The registration opens and the programme is announced next week, so keep your eye on our channels! At the end of June, BDVA will be at the IoT week in Dublin with sessions dedicated to data spaces and trustworthy AI, and we are joining MyData 2022 in Helsinki too.
The first taste of post-covid meetings was given in EUHubs4Data Data Forum 2022 at the end of March. In addition to the event being a success, the occasion was the first time when Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA) teams got to meet outside the digital space. Speaking of the alliance, it recently took its first steps in bringing the hubs of the associations together by publishing an overview of the hub landscape. Through this collaboration, BDVA i-Spaces are even more tightly integrated into the European ecosystem, giving a massive push for the digital transformation!
The Commission’s deadline for the Data Act feedback is closing in. At the moment, we are helping our members to crunch the proposal and to write a position paper to deliver the BDVA perspective to the legislative process. We will publish the paper after the feedback period has ended.
See you soon!
Kind regards,
The Big Data Value Association team
