Dear Big Data Value Community,
Data Week 2022 set off last week, and the ride will keep ongoing for the next two weeks. Our launch event included keynotes from the European Commission, French government, industry and research, and a panel on the event's main theme set the scene for the upcoming weeks. Did you miss the opening? No worries, we have published the recording.
The programme is packed with online international events organised by our community, projects and collaboration partners, and local events hosted by the BDVA i-Spaces, so wherever you are in Europe, you can hop to Data Week. The final and most desired stop will be in Naples on the 8th and 9th of June, bringing the community together in person again to exchange knowledge and ideas, build new collaborations and projects, and network under the Italian sun. Get your tickets here - if you are a BDVA member, BDVA covers part of your ticket!
The Data Act feedback period was closed earlier this month. The BDVA community submitted its input for the EC and published a position paper. Find the summary of member perspectives and the full paper here. We thank our members for all their efforts! May and June are full of interesting activities organized also by our collaboration partners: Data Spaces Business Alliance is in Hannover Messe (30.5.-2.6.), and BDVA will join IoT Week in Dublin (20-23.6.) and MyData in Helsinki (21-22.6.)! We have also planned some interesting workshops and activities for our members, collaboration partners and projects during June - but more about those later. Follow our weekly digest and our social media channel to stay up to date!
Kind regards,
The Big Data Value Association team
